Dear colleagues, Here is the summary of todays regular TA1/2 call. Thank you all for the great interactions! Housekeeping: Böhm will organize and lead next week's meeting. Search Portal Functionality: - Ulrik introduced upcoming work on the search portal. A new document will be created to describe its functionality. Everyone is asked to think about: - What properties users should be able to search for. - What information is needed to evaluate search results. - Additional useful search features. - *>> Action item*: Submit ideas for functionality by Monday evening https://nextcloud.nfdi4immuno.de/f/25339 NFDI4Immuno Website Presentation: - Charlyn gave a presentation on the current state of the project website. - There was a discussion about how to best integrate general information and data portal parts. - General agreement that the space for general information on the NFDI4Immuno Consortium and for the Data Portal can run on completely different backends, but must have same look and feel. GitLab Project Structure Update: - Ulrik shared outcomes from a related call: - GitLab will be used to register and manage Products, Components, Deliverables, Milestones, and tasks. - Component responsibilities will be assigned. - The goal is to improve coordination across TAs. - Four main products identified: 1. Portal Infrastructure 2. Training & Outreach 3. Data 4. Tools Winter Product 2025 Timeline: - Discussion focused on infrastructure needs. A server is required to support the development of the submission pipeline by the coding groups in TA1/TA2. Coordination with TA4 is pending. - Clarifying questions were raised. No objections to the timeline was voiced. Backlog (Not Discussed Today) - Better coordination between groups (Ulrik, Katherina). - Participation in NFDI Sections, task forces, and working groups (Ulrik). Timeline for the Winter Product 25

Dear all, Below is a summary of today's call. - Conference: GRC-IB 2025 - Discussed the upcoming GRC-IB 2025 Bioinformatics Conferences, scheduled for September 10-12. - Action Item: Everyone is requested to check the conference program. Our aim is to send 1 or 2 participants from TA1/2. - UI Mockup: - Lina presented initial mockup of the data portal UI. - Question by Daniel: Should we have a data set management page? - @Daniel: I didn't get all your ideas, can you send them to Lina? - Lina is the sole Data Portal UI mock-up group member and will report every 2 weeks. - We discussed different mock-up tools, if needed we'll see if we can get a license. - GitLab Project Structure Setup Meeting on Friday: - Ulrik, Böhm, Katherina will participate - Update Feedback Timeline WP25: - Ulrik gave an update on the comments to the time line presented last week. - Ulrik presented his idea for using the milestone deadlines as options to take stock of the progress on ambitious timeline to reach the desired WP25. Action Items - *Everyone*: Check the GRC-IB conference program and consider participation. - *Everyone*: Think about strategies to improve coordination between groups. - *Daniel*: Send ideas to Lina (lina.alasfar(a)dhzc-charite.de). The result clearly says, that Q4 of 2025 is the favoured time for the meeting. As the regular BioMed Meeting will be in this timeframe as well, it would make sense to have our Meeting shortly before or after, at the same location. This will not only have the general topic discussion in close proximity, but will also reduce our travel time. So it has clear advantages. In our next meeting on the 7th of May, we will have an idea finding session Where we will align our expectations and see the different views and aspects. Trying to organise the in-person meeting in Leipzig, I identified three dates for a two-days Workshop before summer holidays.
