* Update on NFDI Symposium of the Leibnitz Association (10 min, Sebastian F.)
o Statement of Wissenschaftsrat: “New” NFDI 2030 will be restructured to a common
association without consortia (→ condensed to hubs) with planned long-term running and
fixed positions.
o Existing services shall be kept.
o Discussion: Losing connection to community? Permanent positions would block
innovation?
Shall NFDI be only data storage with good meta-data or also provide data analysis with
AI?
