Metaproteomics uses LC-MS/MS to investigate microbial communities, producing large and complex data sets, where recording of important metadata - as so often - is neglected. This presentation will detail efforts to improve metadata acquisition using research data management for improved collection of metadata and the tool MetaForge for streamlined metadata annotation of whole projects.
