Dear all,
At CoRDI, Roman Baum from TS4NFDI and I discussed launching an incubator project to
integrate TS4NFDI's terminology services into NFDI4Immuno. This short-term
collaboration (3-6 months) would focus on two key goals:
1) Create a framework to integrate the TS4NFDI JS widget into the front-end, enabling
users to select and search for appropriate ontology terms directly from our webpage.
2) Develop an NFDI4Immuno ontology tailored to our needs by combining and extending
existing ontologies. This ontology will be hosted by TS4NFDI and serve as a reference for
validation, as well as enable version control.
Who would be interested in getting involved with this incubator project? Roman Baum will
supervise the project, which will involve:
- Contributing code to NFDI4Immuno's repositories (frontend/ontology tools-all code
stays within our consortium)
- Collaborating on ontology development
The first step will be co-authoring the incubator proposal.
