Dear colleagues interested in programming and AI,
the Leibniz MMS Days will also take place in 2026. At this conference, a wide range of topics dealing with mathematical
modeling and simulation will be presented.
The detailed information is provided below.

Betreff: Leibniz MMS Days 2026 - Website launched, registration open!
Dear MMS network partners,
It is my pleasure to announce the next annual scientific workshop of our network, the Leibniz
MMS Days 2026 which will take place from
March 2 - March 4, 2026 at the Leibniz Institute for High Performance Microelectronics Frankfurt/Oder (IHP) in Frankfurt (Oder).
We are very much looking forward to another of such unique opportunities for scientific exchange between scientists from the most diverse disciplines which deal with mathematical
modelling and simulation in their work and thus face similar problems and questions in their everyday research.
The registration for the workshop is now open until January 7, 2026. For this purpose, submissions of contributions and for all further information please visit the above-linked
workshop's website.
As in former years, we aim to invite outstanding keynote speakers on MMS topics. So far the following keynotes are confirmed:
Again, a mini-workshop on scientific programming issues is planned. Due to its apparent relevance and demand, a mini-course on
AI-assisted programming is to be scheduled in the immediate run-up to the event on Monday, 2 March, in the morning.
And (last but not least) - in light of the success of our Leibniz MMS Science Slams in the last two years, we wish to organize a third
edition which we are really looking forward to! It will be exciting to see which institutions will be showing up with the most creative scientists this time
😀.
As always, the success of this central annual scientific event of our network depends on active participation and a large number of good scientific contributions. A view to the video
recordings of last year’s talks at the TIB AV-Portal is definitely worth and might help to encourage interested scientists to register and to submit a talk and/or poster.
Please inform all members of your institute working on MMS related topics as well as scientists from other Leibniz institutions and beyond who might be interested in joining us.
We hope to see many of you in March in Frankfurt (Oder).
Best regards
Torsten Koehler
