To ensure clarity and the alignment on the respective objectives for the teaching resources project, how about we have a brief meeting before the 17^th (15-20 mins or so). This would allow us to discuss the concept and clarify what needs to be achieved from which side. 

 

Well two potential approaches come to mind which we could give the students in delving a bit deeper into the whole framework.

 

1. In-depth exploration of the NFDI framwork (FAIRMAT, NFDI-Matwerk etc)
2. 1. Idea would be to build a foundational understanding of tools, resources, and structures with the NFDI-MaTwerk (after the showcasing of the website by Sebastian/Katharina) and then report back on the findings. This would familiarize them with our own offerings.

 

2. Comparative research on tools and frameworks from other NFDI consortia
3. 1. We could ask them to analyse tools and practices on FDM used by other NFDI consortia or similar frameworks. Not particularly restricting to Materials Science but little bit delving into other domains to see what they are doing and how they are doing it? Starting from a quick google search or something?
   2. The students could ‘investigate’ selected consortia to see how FDM is being done there including the tools used and potential teaching materials that are also utilized side by side? Each group would then present their findings suggesting which practices could be beneficial for NFDI Matwerks resources?

 

3. Ofc we could also combine both by either separating the students or incorporating both (one after the other) but yes it all depends on how deep you would like to go. 

 

I know this is currently all ‘talk in the air’ as it also depends on how many hours per week needs to be spent on this and usw. But yeah if you could send a teams invite or zoom or anything, would be gooood. 😊

 

Additionally, I have forwarded your email to Flavio as well and invited to join as hes directly involved with IUC 01 and given his role in EUSMAT. Unfortunately, I couldn’t meet with him today but if hes in the office tomorrow, I will have a chat as well.

Hallo zusammen,

 

Wie in Frankfurt gemeinsam besprochen, werde ich zwei Aufträge von der Roll-out Group in meinem Kurs „Interdisziplinäres Projekt“ bearbeiten lassen.

Die Studierenden sind aus div. Management-Studiengängen, Bachelor, im 3. Semester.

Sie sollen anhand der Projekte vor allem Projektmanagement- und Teamskills erlernen.

 

Wir hatten uns auf zwei Themen geeinigt, die ich in den One-Pagern anbei kurz beschreibe. Die One-Pager sind vor allem dazu gedacht, dass die Studierenden sich in der kommenden Woche die Themen aussuchen können und einen kleinen Eindruck bekommen, um was es gehen wird. Die detaillierte Auftragsklärung findet dann im persönlichen Gespräch statt.

 

Wir würden dann mit den jeweiligen Auftraggeber:innen einen Termin von 1 Stunde benötigen, gerne am 14.10. zwischen 12:15 und 16:00 Uhr oder am 17.10. zwischen 12:45 und14:30 Uhr, wo die Studierenden den Hintergrund und den Auftrag nochmal in Euren Worten dargelegt bekommen und sie die Möglichkeit haben, Fragen dazu zu stellen.

 

Ich würde Euch bitten, gerne noch detailliertere Angaben zu machen, die Ihr den Studis mitgeben wollt für dieses persönliche Gespräch.

 

Bei dem Thema „Lehre“ habe ich jetzt auch mal den IUC01 mit einbezogen: Pranav und Christoph, gebt mir gerne Feedback, ob das so Sinn macht??

 

Wie wäre es, wenn wir uns für die beiden Projekte etwas aufteilen?

- Katharina und Sebastian könnten die Auftraggeber:innen für das Thema Darstellung der Lösungen sein

- Pranav, Christoph und jemand aus Martinas Team für das Thema Lehre

 

Was denkt Ihr?
