Dear all,

I would prefer a different approach and would like to discuss it with you tomorrow in our meeting.

Let us send questionnaires to the interview partners in advance. I have an Excel spreadsheet in my head, with one column listing all the available software solutions (we'll have to discuss which ones tomorrow, only from this current, incomplete list or more?). Next to this are other columns containing the questions from Julia's file:

• Which of these software solutions are you using in your PP?
• Which of these software solutions are you using in other contexts?
• Please describe within 1-2 sentences how the used solutions from NFDI-MatWerk helped with your work?
• Did your work get easier/better/faster using this specific MatWerk solution? Can you elaborate briefly on this?
• Have you ever tried to use other software solutions from this list? If yes, please let us know why you are not using it anymore?

Additionally, we could ask in advance: what do you would need, to use more of our software tools? Are there missing solutions for your specific research field?

In the interview itself, we then can be faster and could ask for more details and specific needs of the person.  

That was my idea so far. However, based on my feedback on the website and the solutions website so far, there may be other aspects to consider, so I would suggest finalising this list of questions at tomorrow's meeting.
