Die Angriffe des russischen Militärs auf die Ukraine hinterlassen uns zutiefst bestürzt. Unsere Gedanken sind bei der ukrainischen Bevölkerung, die aktuell fürchterliches Leid ertragen muss.
Als großes Netzwerk von Forschungsinstitutionen in Deutschland sammelt NFDI Links, Kontaktadressen und Services, die betroffenen Wissenschaftler:innen aus der Ukraine weiterhelfen können. Das FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz-Institut für Informationsinfrastruktur betreibt mit RADAR bereits seit mehreren Jahren einen ausgezeichneten Dienst zum institutionellen Management von Forschungsdaten. Als wichtiger Akteur im Fachkonsortium Chemie NFDI4Chem und im Konsortium für materielle und immaterielle Kulturgüter NFDI4Culture, bietet das FIZ Karlsruhe ab sofort einen neuen Publikationsdienst für Forschungsdaten an. Mit RADAR4Chem und RADAR4Culture existieren nun zwei Services, die den Forschenden der jeweiligen Fachcommunities ermöglichen, ihre Forschungsdaten nachhaltig, kostenfrei und institutionsunabhängig zu publizieren. As a key player in the consortium for chemistry NFDI4Chem and in the consortium for tangible and intangible cultural assets NFDI4Culture, FIZ Karlsruhe offers now a new publication service for research data. With RADAR4Chem and RADAR4Culture, there are two new services that enable researchers in the respective subject communities to publish their research data sustainably, free of charge and independent of institutions. Metadata4Ing ist als allgemeines Prozessmodell gedacht, das auf viele Disziplinen anwendbar ist und sich auf allgemeine Konzepte wie In- und Output, verwendete Methoden und Werkzeuge, sowie die untersuchte Entität konzentriert. Version 1.0.0 of Metadata4Ing Ontology published NFDI4Ing has released version 1.0.0 of Metadata4Ing, an ontology for process-based description of research, focusing on the provenance of both data and material objects. Metadata4Ing is intended as a general process model applicable to many disciplines and focuses on general concepts like in- and output, employed methods and tools as well as the investigated entity, reusing terms of existing ontologies where possible. *Text+ Ausschreibung für Kooperationsprojekte
Das NFDI-Konsortium Text+ vergibt Fördergelder, um das Angebot an Daten und Diensten für die Nutzung durch die wissenschaftliche Community kontinuierlich zu erweitern. Dazu werden auf ein Kalenderjahr befristete Projekte gefördert, deren Ergebnisse in die Text+ Infrastruktur integriert werden. Anträge können bis zum 15.05.2022 gestellt werden. The NFDI consortium Text+ awards funding to continuously expand the range of data and services for use by the scientific community. For this purpose, projects limited to one calendar year are funded, the results of which will be integrated into the Text+ infrastructure. Applications can be submitted until May 15, 2022. Publikationen & Infoangebote / Publications and info offers Publikationsleitlinien und Metadatenschema veröffentlicht Mit der Veröffentlichung der Dokumente legen NFDI4Health und die NFDI4Health Task Force COVID-19 den Grundstein für die standardisierte Publikation von Studienmetadaten und Studiendokumenten wie Studienprotokolle und Fragebögen im German Central Health Study Hub COVID-19 auf der Grundlage eines Metadatenschemas. Forscher oder Forschungsgruppen, die ihre Studien auffindbar und ihre Forschungsdaten FAIR machen wollen, sollten diese Anforderungen erfüllen. With the publication of these documents, NFDI4Health and the NFDI4Health Task Force COVID-19 lay the foundation for the standardised publication of study metadata and study documents such as study protocols and questionnaires in the German Central Health Study Hub COVID-19 based on a metadata schema. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, NFDI4Health expanded its work programme to include the Use Case COVID-19. The goal was to establish a nationwide information and counselling infrastructure. The NFDI4Health Task Force COVID-19-Symposium will report on experiences and results from the work programmes of the Task Force COVID-19. Erstes peer reviewed Paper von PUNCH4NFDI veröffentlicht Der erste PUNCH4NFDI "Open Data Workshop" bot die Gelegenheit zu einer ersten Bestandsaufnahme bestehender und geplanter Open-Data-Initiativen innerhalb des PUNCH-Wissenschaftsbereichs. Das Paper, das in Computing and Software for Big Science erschienen ist, befasst sich mit den konzeptionellen Unterschieden und Gemeinsamkeiten der beteiligten Communities, die im Workshop vorgestellt wurden. GHGA Workshop bei der GfH-Tagung GHGA hat während der GfH-Tagung (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Humangenetik) seinen ersten Workshop mit dem Titel „Das deutsche Humangenom-Phenomarchiv (GHGA): Best Practise-Beispiele für eine gemeinsame Genom-Datennutzung“ organisiert. Der Workshop stieß auf reges Interesse bei den ca. 40 Teilnehmenden und führte zu spannenden Gesprächen im Anschluss. Mehr Informationen finden sie hier.
