In this edition, we are pleased to share several exciting updates: We look back on the 3rd NFDI4Energy Conference in Aachen, highlight new collaborations through Memoranda of Understanding with fellow NFDI consortia, introduce the NFDI4Energy Research Data Management Commitment, and provide updates on upcoming events and community activities.

3rd NFDI4Energy Conference in Aachen

The 3rd NFDI4Energy Conference in Aachen brought together researchers and infrastructure experts to discuss current developments in research data management for energy research, including FAIR infrastructures, semantic technologies, and energy system modeling.

Strengthening Collaboration through MoUs

NFDI4Energy has recently signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with NFDI4ING, KonsortSWD - NFDI4Society, and NFDI-MatWerk. These collaborations strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation in research data management, foster interoperability between services and infrastructures, and support FAIR research data practices across different research communities.

Join the NFDI4Energy RDM Commitment!

The NFDI4Energy Research Data Management Commitment is a shared, non-binding pledge to strengthen FAIR and sustainable research data management in energy research. Individuals and institutions are invited to join the initiative and support transparent, interoperable, and reusable research practices.
