Liebe LA-Leads,

anbei die Information zur neuen Sektion International Engagement. Gibt es aus Euren TAs jemanden, der an dieser Veranstaltung teilnehmen möchte. KonsortSWD sollte in jedem Fall im Bilde sein.

Bezüge bestehen am direktesten zu den EOSC Aktivitäten in TA2 aber auch generell zu fragen, wie Dienste der NFDI sich internationale Netzwerke einbringen.

Aufbauend auf einem Eindruck aus dieser Veranstaltung könnten wir dann darüber sprechen, wie sich KonsortSWD längerfristig in dieser neuen Sektion positionieren möchte.

Diskussionen gerne auch in Frankfurt. Ich bitte um Positionierung jeder TA ob jemand von Euch da teilnehmen wird. Danke!

Dear NFDI Network,

We kindly invite you to our virtual Info Event regarding the new Section International Engagement (Int), February 26, 2026, from 3 to 4 p.m.!

The aim of this event is to inform you about the goals and what to expect from the new section, how it will operate, and how you can actively contribute to shaping its activities. The event will cover the following topics:

• General information: Get a concise overview from the NFDI Office on how the sections are structured, what roles and election procedures look like, and what participation means in practice. We will give you an overview of the next meetings of the section.
• Focus areas: Learn about the priorities and planned working groups of the new NFDI Section International Engagement and how they will strengthen international collaboration within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI).
• Shaping the section from the start: Use the Q&A session to clarify your questions, share your expectations, and identify ways to get involved.
